Join us Thursday 30th June for an evening of brilliant bier, music and meeting the brewery that is Neptune. Neptune have supplied us with many great biers on the taps and it’s about to get a whole lot better! Seven draft biers including two cask, plus 3 delicious cans will be available.

“We are an independent brewery making modern beers, inspired by tradition, in Maghull since 2015. After 25 years running a successful aquatic company we decided to hang up our fishing nets and pick up our mash paddle. The Neptune name came with us, and with that, our beers are each given a name inspired by sea life, the ocean, and mythological creatures.
Our beers are naturally conditioned and all the “uns” – that’s unfiltered, unpasteurised and unfined – ensuring the greatest flavour in each brew. It also means our beers are vegan-friendly as we want as many people as possible to enjoy them.”

‘The Hyades’ was brewed in celebration of International Women’s Day with women based in North West hospitality, and ‘Ladies That Beer’ – an inclusive group for women who love to learn about beer as well as drink it! We were lucky enough to also get involved in the brew process and are very proud to have this bier available both on the taps and in the fridges.
This 5.3% saison bier is full of peach and apricot flavours, balanced by gentle warmth of black pepper from Grains of Paradise, with a hint of spice and citrus leading to a dry finish.

All Neptune biers will be available from 4:30pm on Thursday afternoon for the early birds, with the tap takeover commencing from 7:30pm. We will be giving out smorgasbords on the haus, raffle tickets for Neptune goodies + there’s whisperings of a Neptune Spotify takeover during the course of the night too!
This event is non-ticketed, all you need to bring is yourself, friends + family and your bier goggles. Prost!
