New to the taps today is a Hefe Weiss bier brewed by THE world’s oldest brewery Weihenstephan.
Weihenstephan Abbey was a Benedictine monastery now part of the district of Freising, in Bavaria, Germany. It was located at the monastery site since at least 1040, so it is said that it is to be the worlds oldest continuously operating brewery.
It is a 5.4% traditional Bavarian wheat beer.
Cloudy and deep golden colour. Classic aromas of bananas, cloves, bubblegum and malted sweetness. Hop bitterness and dry finish. A bier you’d want to drink all day.
Get it before it’s gone!
